Faculty of Bio - Sciences
The Faculty of Bio Sciences at the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, is dedicated to providing quality education and research opportunities in the biological sciences. The Faculty focuses on developing scientific knowledge, research skills and practical expertise to address emerging challenges in animal, environmental and biological sciences.
The Faculty provides comprehensive academic and practical training in key areas of biological sciences, enabling students to develop strong foundations in laboratory techniques, biological research, molecular sciences and related disciplines. Through modern laboratories, research facilities and hands-on learning, students gain the knowledge and practical skills required for higher education, research and professional careers.
Faculty members are actively engaged in teaching, research, postgraduate education and scientific innovation. Their research contributes to areas such as anatomy and histology, physiology and biochemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, food sciences, social and allied sciences, computer science and zoology. The Faculty also promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation and research to contribute to scientific advancement at regional, national and international levels.
